A cold air mass is expected to trigger a significant drop in temperatures, bringing below-freezing minimums to several locations. According to reports from the State Meteorological Agency, conditions will feature a widespread decrease in maximum temperatures, which will be particularly notable across the northern half of the country.

In specific provinces, thermometers are expected to plummet. Cities such as Ávila and Segovia could see minimum temperatures drop to about two degrees below zero. Meanwhile, other regional capitals are anticipating maximum highs around ten degrees, with frosts developing in primary mountain ranges and nearby high altitudes.

Conversely, other regions are experiencing a temporary rise in temperatures before conditions shift. In Málaga, thermometers are reaching highs of 25 degrees Celsius, though conditions are projected to change significantly by midweek. Rain is expected to return alongside a drop in the mercury, bringing weather that is more typical for November.

Precipitation alerts have also been issued for select zones. Almería remains under a weather warning for rainfall, where localized heavy showers and potential storms are anticipated. Forecasters note that skies will remain generally cloudy across the wider region with occasional intervals of medium and low clouds.

In other localities, weather patterns indicate a transition toward warmer conditions before subsequent cooling trends arrive. Southerly winds are expected to maintain milder overnight temperatures, with daytime highs climbing into higher brackets before additional chances of rain move into the forecast later in the week.

Meteorological authorities continue to monitor the progression of the cold fronts and shifting wind patterns. Residents in affected zones are advised to stay updated on local forecasts and potential weather advisories as the colder air mass settles over the peninsula.
