The Montana State Bobcats welcomed the Cal Poly football team to Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman for a regular-season college football matchup on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Kickoff for the game was scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern Time.

Entering the contest, Montana State celebrated Military and Ag Appreciation Day, wearing specialized camo jerseys and featuring a Warriors and Quiet Waters patch to aid military personnel. Head coach Brent Vigen's squad brought strong momentum into the game, supported by a notable home-field advantage in the Big Sky Conference.

For Montana State, the game also highlighted tight end Bruin Fleischmann, a graduate transfer from the U.S. Air Force Academy playing his final collegiate season alongside his brother, Titan Fleischmann. Bruin Fleischmann took on an increased role for the matchup as fellow tight end Carter Curnow sat out due to an injury, alongside other sidelined players including receiver Taco Dowler and safety Taki Uluilakepa.

The Halloween matchup added to Montana State's history of playing on the holiday. Historically, the program held an all-time record of 5-6-2 on October 31, with their previous Halloween game resulting in a 44-38 loss at North Dakota in 2015.

Beyond the immediate matchup against Cal Poly, the Montana State program continues to look ahead in its schedule. The Bobcats also share a storied rivalry with Montana, with tickets already in high demand for the upcoming 126th edition of the Brawl of the Wild scheduled for November 21.

Television and streaming coverage for the Cal Poly versus Montana State game was made available through the Montana Television Network and ESPN+, allowing fans across the region and nationwide to follow the action live from Bozeman.
