The Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks face off at Fiserv Forum on Friday afternoon in a regular-season NBA matchup. The game was moved to an earlier 4 p.m. ET tip-off to accommodate Game 1 of the World Series, which is being hosted by the Milwaukee Brewers on the same evening.

Both teams enter the contest searching for their first victory after stumbling in their respective season openers on Wednesday. The Bulls suffered a heavy 135-92 defeat against the Toronto Raptors on the road, while the Bucks dropped a 128-116 decision to the Washington Wizards.

Chicago struggled significantly on the offensive end during its opening night loss, committing 27 turnovers and shooting just 4-for-36 from beyond the arc. Matas Buzelis led the Bulls with 17 points, and rookie Caleb Wilson added 16 points and four rebounds in his NBA debut. Norman Powell and Jalen Smith each contributed 15 points, with Smith hauling in a team-high eight rebounds.

Milwaukee is adapting to a revamped roster following the offseason trade that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat. Tyler Herro, acquired from Miami, had a strong debut for the Bucks with 24 points and nine assists. Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 22 points and seven rebounds, while Kasparas Jakucionis chipped in 15 points off the bench and rookie Brayden Burries scored 12.

Looking back at last season's head-to-head series, Milwaukee secured victories in the first three meetings before Chicago claimed a win in the final matchup. In the standings last year, the Bucks finished third in the Central Division with a 32-50 record, while the Bulls placed fourth at 31-51.

Injury reports indicate that the Bulls list several players as probable, including Tobe Awaka, Zach Collins, Josh Giddey, Jordan Hawkins, and Dailyn Swain, while Nic Claxton is sidelined. The Bucks have not yet detailed a finalized injury report for the contest.

Sports analysts and betting models point out that both squads struggled defensively in their opening games, surrendering over 120 points apiece. With both teams featuring potent offensive pieces and suspect defenses, analysts anticipate another high-scoring affair following their over-the-total results on Wednesday.
