Brad Pitt Returns as Cliff Booth in The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth

Brad Pitt is returning to the big screen as the fan-favorite stuntman Cliff Booth in the upcoming crime film The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. Netflix and IMAX have released fresh footage and a new promotional poster for the movie, directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher.

Set in 1977, the story picks up eight years after the events of Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which followed Cliff Booth through his memorable run-in with the Manson family. In the new film, Cliff has transitioned into a Hollywood studio fixer, taking care of dangerous problems that powerful people want to keep hidden from the public.

While Tarantino wrote the screenplay, Fincher takes over the director's chair. The creative partnership brings together two distinctive cinematic voices known for gritty crime narratives. The plot follows Booth as he handles high-stakes situations involving murder, blackmail, theft, and extortion in Los Angeles.

The supporting ensemble cast features Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Corey Fogelmanis, JB Tadena, and Karren Karagulian. Notably, Leonardo DiCaprio is not expected to reprise his role as Rick Dalton in the sequel.

In addition to the creative team behind the camera, award-winning composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have provided the original score for the film. Reznor and Ross have previously collaborated with Fincher on multiple acclaimed projects, including The Social Network, Gone Girl, and Mank.

The release strategy for the project includes an exclusive IMAX theatrical run in the United States beginning on November 25, followed by a wider streaming release on Netflix on December 23. Alongside the film release, Quentin Tarantino is set to publish a companion novelization on December 8.
