Azalia Ojeda Becomes Seventh Eliminated Contestant on La Granja VIP

Azalia Ojeda was eliminated from the reality television show La Granja VIP during the seventh elimination gala on Sunday, October 25. Her departure from the Azteca UNO program followed a week defined by intense conflicts, strict farm chores, and a disciplinary sanction imposed by the show's producers.

Ojeda faced automatic nomination and lost the opportunity to be saved by the audience after production penalized her for an incident involving fellow contestant Rafael Mercadante. Host Adal Ramones explained that the sanction stemmed from an offensive gesture directed at Mercadante and his daughters, which violated show policies regarding individuals outside the competition.

Along with Ojeda, the final group of nominees for the evening included Rafael Mercadante, Manelyk González, Natalia Alcocer, and Kunno. Viewers cast their ballots using the official website or the mobile application, distributing up to ten votes among their preferred contestants before the elimination window closed during the broadcast.

Upon arriving at the main studio, Ojeda reflected on her exit and the strength of her remaining allies. "I was not prepared because the truth is my companions are left weak, we had good plans, but I have always thought that everything is timed perfectly and everything happens when it should. I respect the audience's opinion very much," she stated.

When questioned by Kristal Silva regarding the altercation with Mercadante, Ojeda remained defiant about her actions in the facility. "If it was because of that, oh well... I was only provoked and I reacted, if it was because of that, I am very sorry, but I will remain the same... I leave very happy and very grateful," she added.

The departure of Ojeda alters the dynamics and alliances within the agricultural house as the remaining competitors prepare for upcoming weeks of the second season. Previous weeks have seen several exits, including the physical expulsion of Mónica Escobedo after an incident with Niurka Marcos, alongside earlier eliminations such as Abigail Pak, María Karunna, Carlos Trejo, Kenny Avilés, Pascal Nadaud, and Pimpinela Escarlata.
