Al-Hilal returns to AFC Champions League Elite action on Tuesday, November 3, hosting Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC in Matchday 4 of the continental tournament. Led by manager Simone Inzaghi, the Saudi club enters the fixture looking to improve its standing in the West group.

Al-Hilal currently sits fifth in the West group standings following a mixed continental campaign so far, which included a recent defeat to Al-Shamal in the Champions League. However, the team enters the upcoming match carrying strong domestic momentum.

On October 31, Al-Hilal secured a 2-0 victory over Al-Fateh, extending a productive run of results that keeps them atop the Saudi Pro League table with 30 points from 11 matches.

English striker Ollie Watkins has played a central role in that domestic charge. Since joining Al-Hilal from Aston Villa, Watkins has recorded five goals and five assists across eight Saudi Pro League appearances.

Reflecting on his transition to the Middle East, Watkins acknowledged that the step up was steeper than expected, describing the division as tough while praising the overall quality of the clubs.

Meanwhile, Shabab Al-Ahli arrives in Riyadh as the stronger side in the group table, currently sitting in second place in the West group. The Dubai club under manager Andre Jardine brings impressive form into the matchup.

Shabab Al-Ahli has won five consecutive matches across all competitions, including a 2-0 victory over Esteghlal in the AFC Champions League Elite on October 27.

With both squads concluding their final preparations and press conferences ahead of Tuesday's game, Al-Hilal will attempt to leverage its home advantage in Riyadh to overcome an in-form opponent.
